Both Beijing and Hong Kong people celebrate Spring Festival and Moon Cake Festival.

Spring Festival

In China, people celebrate Spring Festival as their new year. In other parts of the world, Chinese celebrate Spring Festival as the Chinese New Year.

The older people give little children 'red packet'. Everyone says "Gong Xi Fa Cai".

Personality

Everyone may have different personality to their apperance or their attitude.

They can be out going, active, soft, gently, cool, selfish, generous, serious, out going, character/personality, humourous and talkactive.

Final project-Hong Kong

1. Introducing this city(Name,location,history,why is it famous?)

My chosen city is called Hongkong. It is an island on the south of mainland China. Since the Opium War, England has governed Hong Kong. In 1983, it was then classified as the British dependent territory. In the year 1997, England gave Hong Kong back to China.

我选择的城市被称为香港。这是在中国大陆南部岛屿。鸦片战争以来，英国一直统治香港。 1983年，当时列为英国属土。在1997年，英国让香港回中国。

Hong Kong has been highly developed. Compare to other cities in China, it is a very modern city.

香港已高度发展。比较在中国其他城市，这是一个非常现代化的城市。

It is famous for global metropolitan and international financial centre.

这是全球著名的大都市和国际金融中心。

Hong Kong has four seasons in a year, i.e. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The weather can be mainly fine, very hot or cloudy with rain.

香港一年有四季，就是春夏秋冬。天气可以大致天晴，很热或多云有雨。

1. Disneyland-迪斯尼乐园

Disneyland is full of children's fantasy characters, such as Snow White, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This place has been adapted for Asian audiences. I am sure a tourist will find this place full of entertainment.

迪斯尼乐园充满了孩子的幻想字符，如白雪公主，米奇和米妮。这个地方已被改编为亚洲的观众。我相信旅游会发现这个地方充分娱乐。

2. Madame Tussauds- 杜莎夫人蜡像馆

Madame Tussauds is the waxworks museum. We can see wax statues of movie stars, world leaders and sport heros. We can stand next to the wax celebrities and take photographs.

3. The peak-高峰

The peak is the most popular attraction in Hong Kong. When we look down from the peak, we can see the world-famous Victoria Harbour and Kowloon,towering sky scrapers and peaceful green hillside. The Peak Tram is pulled by steel cables, the tram climbs 373 metres (about 1,200 feet).

该峰是香港最受欢迎的名胜景点。当我们向高峰下望，我们可以看到世界著名的维多利亚港和九龙，高耸的摩天大厦与和平的绿色山坡。山顶缆车是拉着钢索，电车爬升373米（约1,200英尺）。

The best way to travel to Hong Kong is to fly direct from Sydney Kingsford Smith to Hong Kong International airport. I will use bus or taxi to go around the tourist sites.

最好的方法前往香港是从悉尼金斯福德史密斯机场直接飞往香港国际机场。我将使用巴士或的士前往各地的观光景点。

Chinese Valentine's Day

The Chinese Valentine's Day is held on 26th August.

在中国情人节是8月26日举行。

In Chinese, it is called "qing ren jie". Couples give each other flowers or presents.

The Western and Chinese calendar are different to each other. So, Westerners and Chinese celebrate Valentine's day on different days.

Western couples may have a romantic dinner as celebration.
